The conversation

We have access to more information about our bodies than ever before. Wearables track our sleep, heart rate and movement, while services like Neko promise a detailed picture of our health before anything feels wrong. Does all this information help us become more aware and take better care of ourselves, or make us less able to listen to our own bodies?

Add AI to the mix and things get even more interesting. Our health data could help researchers uncover new patterns, make hard-to-diagnose illnesses easier to understand and give us more useful, personal advice. It could also encourage us to obsess over every fluctuation, find patterns where none exist and place too much trust in systems that do not always understand the full picture.

In this supper, we’ll explore the good, the bad and the ugly of our increasingly data-driven health.

What Nicky will be cooking for us

Our Felloe suppers are cooked by our dear Nicky, who rustles up an incredible and creative new menu for each new supper, inspired by the theme.

Where & getting there

Sands Film Studio, 82 Saint Marychurch St, London SE16 4HZ

Simplicity Bakery, 1 Tunnel Rd, London SE16 4JJ

We're just 2 minutes' walk from Rotherhithe Overground station, or 10 minutes if you're coming to Canada Water on the Jubilee line. We'll start the evening at Sands Film Studio, then pop over the road to Simplicity for our sit-down supper.

Access

Limited disabled access due to being housed in an 18th-century listed former granary building.

What happens on the night?

You'll be greeted with a drink when you arrive, pop your stuff down and then fill your plate with a range of small bites and canapes while you chat to other guests. We'll then all sit down to listen to our invited guests in conversation with each other, before taking a seat at our candle-lit tables to continue the conversation over Mains and Dessert!

Coming alone or booking for friends?

Do people come alone?

Yes - most of our guests do!

Can I book for friends?

Yes. You can book as many seats as are available. We’ll ask for each guest’s details when you book.

What if I have dietary requirements?

Tell us your dietary requirements at checkout & we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What if the supper is sold out?

Join the waitlist. If a seat becomes available, we’ll get in touch with the next person on the list.

Can I cancel or transfer my ticket?

If you cancel 7 days or more before we can offer a full refund, or a transfer to another upcoming supper. Unfortunately after that, we can't issue refunds as we'll already have incurred costs for your meal. But you’re welcome to gift your ticket to a friend! The full details are in our terms.

Will there be photos?

We sometimes take photos at suppers. If you’d rather not be in them, tell a Felloe host when you arrive.
